Compassionate care that creates wellness

Aransas Pass Hurricane Harvey Update 8/30/17

Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Toolkit

This morning, as a bright Texas sun rises and illuminates the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey, we’re left to ponder our blessings and look forward to the future.  Several staff members lost their homes, then continued to work through the night evacuating, transporting, and caring for our residents.  We saw an unprecedented level of support from the community, state and local government, and our host facilities.  All of our residents were evacuated safely and quickly in a professional and calm atmosphere.  We are certainly blessed to be working around such fine folks.

Our residents have now been safely moved to their new semi-permanent facilities – San Rafael Nursing and Rehab in Corpus Christi, and Woodridge Nursing and Rehab in Beeville.  We will continue to make caring and providing for them our top priority.  We do the right thing for our staff, and provide continued employment in other nearby facilities, and continue to support them however we can.

For further information, please call the Lexington Place Nursing and Rehab administrator Kenneth Watson(, 832-687-6431) or the director of nursing Ellie Evans(, (361) 758-7686).
